The error message is telling me to pretty please remove the “DE” prefix of my bank account number.1 So they know exactly in what way my input is “wrong”. My insurance provider must employ some of the biggest brain 10x engineers on the planet. Maybe some day technology will advance as far as to allow them to automatically correct my input accordingly.
One can only dream.
